Who we are This website belongs to Bali Buda Ubud, Bali.

What we collect When you open this site we record nothing that identifies you personally. We count visits so we can see which pages are read, and that count holds no name, no address and no cookie. If you send us a message through the form, we receive what you typed into it, along with the email address or phone number you gave us so we can answer. If you make a booking, we receive your name, the way to reach you, the date and time you chose, and anything you told us about the booking.

Why we collect it We use what you give us to do the thing you asked for — answer your message and hold your booking — and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not hand it to anybody who wants to advertise to you, and we do not send you anything you did not ask for.

Cookies This site sets no cookie to follow you around and carries no advertising trackers of any kind. What it does keep is the little your own browser needs to remember between one page and the next: which version of the page you asked for, and how far you had got. All of that stays on your device, is sent nowhere, and disappears the moment you clear it. Where a page has a map or a video from somewhere else embedded in it, that company may set one of its own — we do not read it, and we get nothing from it.

Who else sees it Nobody else sees it, with one exception: the company that runs this website stores it for us, and uses it for nothing of its own. We take no payments here, so there is no payment company in this at all.

How we keep it safe What you send us is stored by the company that runs this website and is reached only by the people here who need it to do the thing you asked for. We do not copy it onto laptops, spreadsheets or a list kept somewhere else. No website can promise that nothing will ever go wrong; what we can promise is that we hold as little as possible, for as short a time as we can, which is the only protection that works whatever happens.

How long we keep it We keep it only as long as it is useful for the thing it was given for — which for a message is until it has been answered and a reasonable while after, in case you write again about the same thing. After that it is deleted.

What you can ask for You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it.
